Mandatory Water Use Restrictions for Village of Brocton and Town of Portland

MAYVILE, N.Y.: - The Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services is requesting that all customers served by public water in the Village of Brocton and Town of Portland conserve water due to a water main break. All outside water use is not allowed. Do not use water for filling swimming pools, washing cars or watering lawns and gardens until further notice. Please also limit indoor water use where possible.

The Village is working with leak experts to locate and repair the water main break(s). You will be kept updated on this situation and informed when the leaks have been fixed and the system is back to normal.
